Privacy policy
Notifyr stores your Shopify store's connection, the email designs you make, and whether your store has a plan. It never collects data about your customers.

Who we are
Notifyr is a Shopify app made by BB Orbit. In this policy, "we" means BB Orbit and "you" means the merchant who installs Notifyr. For anything about your data, email support@notifyrmail.com.
What Notifyr stores
- Your store's myshopify.com address and the access token Shopify gives Notifyr when you install it. The token is limited to the permissions you approved, reading products and writing files, and Notifyr keeps it so it can work for your store.
- The email designs you build and everything in them: text, colors, fonts, your logo's address, the product links you add and the discount codes you type.
- Whether your store has an active Notifyr plan, as Shopify reports it, and when we last checked.
What Notifyr reads but doesn't keep
- Your public storefront pages, when you click Get brand, to find your logo, colors, fonts, footer links and products. If your storefront has a password, you type it in and Notifyr uses it for that one read.
- A product's name, price, photo and link, when you pick it or paste its link. They are stored only if you keep them in a design.
- A logo you upload, which goes into your store's Files in Shopify. Notifyr keeps only its address.
What Notifyr never collects
Notifyr doesn't collect any data about your customers: no names, email addresses, postal addresses or orders. Shopify fills in those details when it sends an email, after you've pasted the code into Shopify, so they never reach Notifyr. The previews in the editor use made-up sample data. Notifyr runs no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use this data only to run Notifyr: to show and save your designs, fill in product details, check your plan, read your brand when you ask, answer your support emails, and find and fix errors. We don't sell it or share it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Shopify, the platform Notifyr runs on.
- Our hosting and database provider, which stores the data and serves the app for us. Its servers keep short request logs (the time, the page asked for and the result), which we use to fix errors.
- Our email provider, which holds the emails you send to support@notifyrmail.com.
- Anyone the law requires us to disclose data to.
Notifyr's database is in the Asia-Pacific region, and pages are served from servers around the world, so your data may be handled outside your country.
In your browser
The editor keeps a working copy of your designs in your browser's local storage, so a lost connection doesn't lose your edits. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data.
How long we keep it
- Your store's connection and plan status: until you uninstall Notifyr. We delete them when Shopify tells us the app was uninstalled.
- Your designs: while Notifyr is installed. We delete them 48 hours after you uninstall, when Shopify asks us to erase your store's data. A quick reinstall within those 48 hours finds your work where you left it.
- Support emails: as long as we need them to help you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about your store, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Email support@notifyrmail.com and we'll do it. Uninstalling Notifyr also deletes your data as described above.
When a customer of yours asks Shopify for their data or asks to be erased, Shopify forwards the request to us. We hold nothing about them, so there is nothing to send or delete.
Security
Every connection to Notifyr uses HTTPS, and every request from the editor has to carry a session token Shopify signed for your store. One store can never read another store's designs.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
